An exploration of self

Florence Kahuhu was born and raised in Kenya then grew into adulthood in the Unites States. While both feel like home, neither one feels like a place she fully belongs.

Torn between her culture she was born into and the place she has built a community, existing in this area of ‘Dark Grey’ came to pass and her work explores different areas of in-between that exist in the world.
